Biography

Harjeet is an associate attorney at Schroeder Schaff & Low. Harjeet began her legal career as an attorney focusing on civil rights and public policy at a non-profit in New York City. She also clerked for two State District Court judges in a small county in Minnesota where she was exposed to all areas of the law, including civil litigation, criminal law, family law, and juvenile law.

While attending law school at University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, Harjeet participated in McGeorge's top ranked trial advocacy program, and clerked at the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office, where she appeared at court proceedings, negotiated pleas, and successfully argued appeals. In addition, Harjeet also participated in the McGeorge Crime Victims Clinic, where she first gained experience representing clients and in alternative dispute resolution.

Harjeet has a diverse litigation background including, employment and religious discrimination, Title IX, victims' rights, wrongful death, personal injury, tort liability, and employment defense. She has represented clients in State Court as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security, and the Department of Justice.

Harjeet is also an Adjunct Professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law where she instructs students nationally in foundational legal skills and advocacy.
